Job Description
**Assembler - Cabling & Kitting**
**Location:** Cedar Rapids, IA
**Schedule:** Monday-Thursday, 5:30 AM-4:00 PM (Four 10-hour shifts)
**About the Role**
We are looking for a detail-oriented Assembler to join our Cabling & Kitting team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electrical cables, wiring harnesses, and mechanical components that meet precise specifications. You'll work in a clean, climate-controlled environment with a supportive team and opportunities for growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Assemble cables, wires, and mechanical parts according to work orders and blueprints
+ Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
+ Change applicators on CSC machines and perform minor adjustments as needed
+ Inspect components for quality and accuracy before final assembly
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company standards
+ Cross-train in other production areas to support team flexibility
+ Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding progress and issues
**Qualifications**
+ Basic math and computer skills for measurements and data entry
+ Ability to read and interpret tape measures, diagrams, and assembly instructions
+ Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods (8+ hours)
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
+ Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is a plus but not required

**Additional Information**
+ Overtime may be available on Fridays for additional earnings

This is a Contract position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
