Salary

The hourly range for this position is $16 to $20, however starting wage will depend on qualifications, skill, and experience

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for producing quality safety equipment in accordance with RCI’s manufacturing standards. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble safety components using appropriate tools and materials to meet quality standards. 
  • Perform repairs, inspections, and reassembly of safety components as required.
  • Monitor products being produced to ensure quality.
  • Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish tasks.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Maintain inventory of work in process and raw material items as indicated by ERP system or as directed by management. 
  • Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications.
  • Monitor machine operation to detect problems or machine malfunctions. 
  • Work effectively with multiple departments for the direction of the project.
  • Follow all safety standards and procedures.

  • Regularly stand and/or sit for long periods
  • Frequently walk, and reach with hands and arms, required to use hands to grasp, manipulate, and assemble equipment.
  • Occasionally stoop, kneel, and crouch.  
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. 
  • The employee will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors.
