As an Assistant Teacher, you will assist with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, prepare and organize learning materials, and supervise children during all activities, including meals and naptime, to ensure a safe and positive learning environment. If you have the following, we would love to speak with you:High School Diploma or GEDExperience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center Prior experience with toddler and pre-school studentsAbility to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of CaliforniaStrong collaboration and communication skills are requiredPatience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners are essential to this position.
