Role Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced and visionary Associate Creative Director, Art to lead the development of compelling, brand-defining creative across digital and traditional platforms. This role is ideal for a conceptual thinker and design leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced agency environment—especially one focused on healthcare and life sciences.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of art directors to deliver innovative, high-quality creative work.
  • Develop and present visual concepts and campaign ideas for both healthcare professionals and consumer audiences.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, strategists, experience designers, and technologists to bring integrated campaigns to life.
  • Ensure all creative aligns with brand strategy, guidelines, and user insights.
  • Oversee the creation of digital assets including websites, banners, emails, and social media content.
  • Manage multiple accounts and contribute to strategic planning and execution.
  • Facilitate creative reviews and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Champion agency initiatives and foster a positive, inclusive creative culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, design, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in a creative agency, with at least 6 years in a leadership role.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking and high-level design execution.
  • Deep experience in digital and integrated marketing.
  • Healthcare advertising experience preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop creative talent.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $160,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
