We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our team. As an Audio Visual Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio and visual equipment for various events and productions. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and attention to detail. Duties: - Install, configure, and troubleshoot audio and visual equipment, including projectors, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems - Set up and operate sound systems for live events, conferences, meetings, and presentations - Collaborate with event organizers to determine audio and visual requirements - Ensure all equipment is properly connected and functioning correctly - Test and adjust audio levels to ensure optimal sound quality - Monitor audio and visual equipment during events to address any technical issues that may arise - Maintain inventory of audio and visual equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed - Assist with the installation of cabling and wiring for audio and visual systems - Follow safety protocols when working with electrical equipment Qualifications: - Strong technical knowledge of audio and visual equipment - Proficiency in computer hardware and software troubleshooting - Mechanical knowledge for equipment setup and maintenance - Basic electrical knowledge for wiring and connections - Familiarity with hand tools used in the installation process - Ability to read and interpret schematics for system setup - Experience with telecommunication systems is a plus - Knowledge of low voltage systems is preferred Benefits: - Competitive salary based on experience - Health insurance coverage - Retirement plan options - Paid time off If you have the technical expertise in audio visual systems along with a passion for delivering high-quality experiences, we encourage you to apply.
