Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of health insurance, medical billing, collections, coding and terminology.

Duties:
- Review and verify accuracy of billing data
- Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
- Check each insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract discount
- Call insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary
- Review accounts for insurance of patient follow up
- Research and appeal denied claims
- Answer patient or insurance inquiries

Salary: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
In Person at the office Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- Day Shift - No weekends
- Holidays - Overtime

Requirements/Responsibilities

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller or similar role
- Knowledge of health insurance, medical billing, collections, coding and terminology
- Familiarity with ICD-10 codes
