The Ready Mix Driver is responsible for safely operating a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites. This includes loading, transporting, and efficiently discharging concrete while maintaining excellent communication with dispatch and customers.
Safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck in compliance with DOT regulations
Load and unload concrete materials at plants and job sites
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment
Adjust truck controls to maintain proper mix and slump during delivery
Provide exceptional customer service at delivery sites
Maintain accurate delivery tickets and documentation
Clean mixer drum and truck after each load
Report mechanical issues and follow company safety procedures
Work with dispatch to meet daily delivery schedule
Valid CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement required
Clean driving record (MVR) and ability to pass a DOT physical & drug screen
Experience operating a mixer truck preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor environments
Strong focus on safety and customer service
Reliable, punctual, and able to work overtime or Saturdays as needed
