Support the lead teacher during classroom instruction and small group activities
Assist in implementing classroom routines and maintaining a well-organized, upbeat learning environment
Supervise students during independent and collaborative learning tasks
Foster a safe, respectful, and developmentally appropriate classroom culture
Model and encourage positive behavior and a joyful attitude throughout the day
Support students in transitions, lunch, and recess as needed
Work closely with teaching staff to meet the needs of all learners
Perform additional duties as assigned by the teacher or principal
A positive, enthusiastic outlook and a passion for working with young children
Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
Dependable, flexible, patient, and nurturing demeanor
Ability to collaborate with others and take initiative when needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to supporting the mission of Catholic education
Must complete Archdiocese of Milwaukee Safe Environment Training and pass a background check
