The Graphic Design Intern is responsible for providing production and creative support for our Marketing and Business initiatives. This includes support for all areas of the company to ensure brand standards are met and creative materials produced. The Graphic Design Intern will work closely with the Graphic Design Manager and creative team to develop work that supports the product launch schedule and other sales and new business development initiatives, which include selling materials, event graphics, presentations, package design, promotional pieces and product support.
This is a full-time paid onsite summer internship with the reporting location based out of Lenexa, KS.
Responsibilities
Support creative team with all production and pre-flight project needs
Design graphics that demonstrate an understanding of the company’s brand standards, various labels and business goals throughout creative execution
Assist in Showroom setup, assuring brand expectations are met within the space
Provide graphic support to training documents and handouts through layout and organization of materials
Prepare emails for deployment by producing translated versions, exporting artwork and organizing files
Assist with hands-on projects, including the installation of graphics and vinyl decals
Collaborate with other marketing team members to assist with any unscheduled/rush graphic projects
Qualifications
Current Student or bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar field.
Knowledge of graphic design and how it applies to various areas of marketing (traditional/print, digital, retail, social, etc.)
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
An understanding of production and pre-flight skills
Must be willing to work with hands-on projects, including installing graphics, vinyl decals, and event banners
Positive, collaborative attitude, with the ability to work well with team members, managers, and business partners
