This position is located in Manhattan Beach, CA and supports the Strategic Deterrent System (SDS) Division. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. **What You'll Get To Do:** **_Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:_** + Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. + Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. + Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. + Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. + Conducts security education classes and security audits. + Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. _This position can be filled as a level 3 or a level 4_ **Job Qualifications** **You'll Bring These Qualifications:** **Principal Industrial Security Analyst:** Bachelors Degree with 5 years of related experience, or Masters with 3 years of related experience, or 1 year with a PhD (an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of degree) **Sr Principal Industrial Security Analyst:** Bachelors Degree with 8 years of related experience, or Masters with 6 years of related experience, or 4 years with a PhD (an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of degree) **Required for Both Level(s):** + Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years. + Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business need. + Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products experience. + Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment. + Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets. + Excellent writing skills, and organizational skills enabling effective communications. + Organized and efficient at time management. **These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:** + Familiarity with Security Information Management System (SIMs). + Experience with SLOPACS and DISS. + Prior Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) Experience. + Experience leading small teams. + Experience with SAP inspections and a record of Satisfactory compliance ratings. Primary Level Salary Range: $82,900.00 - $124,300.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $103,200.00 - $154,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
