In this role you will work as part of the Information Technology team to implement third-party applications, resolve application problems and support operations of assigned software.Duties: Identify management requirements and operating problems and define alternatives and the recommended solution in terms of management information needs.Use current system and computer technology, and designs, installs and ensures continuing operation of systems in all functional areas of Christiana Care.Participates in an "on call rotation, responding to support calls in a timely mannerProvides input into or may lead the development of milestones, deliverables, project plans and timelines to assure that technical tasks/aspects are addressed.Support the key software systems used by the invasive labs, non-invasive labs, and outpatient/ambulatory practices: Fuji Synapse Cardiovascular PACS, Philips iSite PACS, Merge, Epiphany Cardio Server, Octagos, Cerner Cardiovascular, Ascend and SpaceLabs Holter Monitor.Provide integration knowledge between cardiovascular systems and others. (e.g. PowerChart, DHIN, EPIC) Translate workflow and reporting needs to effective system design for the entire suite of software components used by the Heart and Vascular Service Line. Requirements: Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or business administration, or closely related field, or commensurate academic & work experience2 - 3 years of experience working with EHR platformsExperience with HL7Experience in a Cerner PowerChart, EPIC and/or PACS system implementations is desirable.Experience supporting applications in a hospital or a healthcare environment is desirable.High School diploma with 5 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree.
