Insight Contracting - Landscaper.

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour.

Job Type: Full-Time.

Description:

We are looking for a safety-minded self-starter that is comfortable in a fast-paced environment. We perform commercial and residential maintenance on construction developments.

The ideal candidate will have at least a basic understanding of landscaping and will be comfortable working individually or on a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate hand- and power-tools used in landscaping, lawn care, and minor exterior maintenance.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as: trucks, mowers, pruners, power-washers, etc.
• Maintain a clean and organized inventory in company storage and vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site on a daily basis.
• Understand and meet project schedule deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• Examine grounds to recommend new projects.
• Spread ice-melt and sand as necessary in winter to provide safe walking paths.
• Depending on the nature of work performed, the incumbent may be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
• Keep accurate time and detailed records of work performed at each location through the use of a service-tracking application (Service Fusion).
• Communicate effectively with management, tenants, and other technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• A valid driver’s license which will allow the legal operation of a motor vehicle in the State of Missouri is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A valid driver’s license and corporate-insurable driving record.
• Able to work outside in times of inclement weather or extreme heat for extended periods.
• Willing to attend instruction on and pass the examination for Pesticide Application in accordance with the Missouri Pesticide Use Act.
• 1+ years’ landscaping experience preferred.
• This position will require the following on a daily basis:
• Grasp, lift, maneuver, rotate, and otherwise use small to large trades tools and equipment.
• Grasp, lift, carry, and set down heavy objects (50-80 lbs.)
• Grasp, turn, twist, pull, push, lift, and otherwise move equipment, controls, parts, etc.
• Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and kneeling.
