Job Description

As a Landscaping Manager, you will:

• Create programs with or assisted by the Director of Landscaping regarding the maintenance of the grounds in all areas.
• Responsible for the design and layout of new landscaping projects throughout Westgate properties.
• Plans all job assignments, and instructs workers in their tasks.
• Interprets policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
• Analyzes, resolves and assists workers in solving work problems.
• Maintains accurate time and production records.
• Responsible for maintaining landscaping operation within designated budget.
• Place orders of plant materials, equipment and supplies.
• Performs activities of workers supervised as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Demonstrates a friendly and positive demeanor
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
• Must be comfortable working in a variety of outdoor weather conditions (i.e., hot, cold, wet, humid, etc.)
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license to drive company golf carts
