Live-In Housekeeper | Private Family | Friendship, Maryland (East of DC)
Schedule:Full-Time, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)

Compensation: $30–$40/hour DOE + Health Insurance + 4 Weeks PTO

A private family is seeking an experienced, reliable live-in Housekeeper to care for their beautifully renovated home on a scenic 100-acre farm. The main home is 4,000 sq ft with two smaller guest houses. This is a long-term position with excellent accommodations and benefits provided.
The Ideal Candidate:
The family is seeking a professional, proactive Housekeeper who can manage the home confidently with minimal supervision. Someone organized, self-motivated, and who enjoys a quiet, rural lifestyle will thrive here. Must be comfortable caring for pets (two indoor cats and a few outdoor cats). They’d love to find someone warm, kind to children, and eager for a stable, long-term position. Private household experience required.
What Works Best for the Family:
They’d love to work with someone reliable, trustworthy, independent, and personable. Since the principal travels often, confidence in managing the home alone is essential. Occasional weekend babysitting (ages 10 & 4) is optional for extra pay. They want someone seeking a long-term role—not just a stepping-stone—who can truly become part of the home.
Responsibilities Include:
Full housekeeping for 3 homes (4,000 sq ft, 4,000 sq ft & 2,000 sq ft)
Laundry and dishes; arranging dry cleaning
Caring for cats, including litter box maintenance
Household organization and upkeep
Pet/house sitting when the principal is traveling
Optional: Weekend babysitting for extra pay (not required)
