We are currently seeking skilled Machine Operators on 3rd shift to join our team at our facility located in Newton, NC, 28658. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring the efficient and accurate assembling of various components. Responsibilities
- Perform assembly or machining tasks according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Read and interpret work orders to determine pertinent specifications.
- Inspect parts and materials for defects or damage before assembling.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components.
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.
- Assembly processes and productivity.
- Report any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machinery effectively and safely.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds if required.
You should be proficient in:
- Machine Building/Assembling
- Machine Setups for Production Runs
- High School / GED
