We're looking for talented operators to join our hardworking team in Richmond, Virginia.

Our operators are responsible for operating and maintaining the Company’s systems and processes, including cleaning and providing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.

What you'll get to do:

• Learn how to operate all facets of the systems and equipment, moving from one area of the plant to another.
• Operate various mobile equipment, including Bobcat, fork truck, skid steer, person-lift, front-end loader and pickup truck.
• Complete minor mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Perform sample testing and simple lab analyses.
• Operate all site conveyors and process equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Monitor and maintain on-site equipment and related systems, including conveyor systems, motors and bearings, to ensure safe, environmentally compliant and efficient operation.
• Ensure all equipment and grounds are kept clean and free of built-up ash and debris.
• Operate safely and help your teammates to do the same.

What you need to have:

• 1-3 years’ plant operations experience in a production environment
• Mechanical and maintenance skills; welding a strong plus
• Heavy equipment operation experience, particularly front-end loader and small mobile equipment
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Computer proficiency
• Strong work ethic and sound judgment
• Ability to work effectively in adverse environmental conditions and noisy work environments
• Team player spirit
• A passion for working safely
