Job Duties: Assist skilled painters with the painting of interior or exterior surfaces of residential and commercial properties. Duties include using, supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment. Apply protective coverings, such as masking tape, to articles or areas that could be damaged or stained by work processes. Fill cracks or breaks in surfaces of plaster articles or areas with putty or epoxy compounds. Entry level; requires supervision.

Special Requirements: Requires three months of previous painter helper experience. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday work required, when necessary. Must work extensively on ladders. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
