Role Overview


Sodexo is seeking a Patient Food Service Experience Manager at the UC Healt h Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio . This strategic food service leader will direct patient feeding operations at this hospital. This food service manager will lead, mentor and develop a team of frontline staff and supervisors and will work closely with nurses and patients to ensure we are meeting and exceeding expectations.

  • lead the daily operations of patient room service dining program
  • rounding with patients and nurses to promote and improve patient satisfaction
  • manage, schedule and train frontline team and supervisors
  • coordinate department safety and sanitation
  • ensure operating standards meet and exceed benchmarks
  • engage with employees and promote an inclusive culture

What You Bring


  • management experience in the hospitality, hotel, and/or food service industry
  • exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • proven ability to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of customers, guests, patients, or clients
  • natural ability to lead and build teams and foster engagement
  • a background as a Registered Dietitian (RD), Dietetic Technician, and/or Certified Dietary Manager is a plus, but not required

Qualifications & Requirements


Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year experience in Service Recovery role at large hospitality or hospital environment
