JOB OVERVIEW:

• Job Title: Physician – Pediatric Hospitalist
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Ronceverte, WV
• Service Setting: Inpatient – Acute Care Hospital
• Coverage Type: Clinical + Call
• Coverage Period: 08/04/2025 – 13 weeks
• Clinical Shift Schedule: 5 nights/week, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour on-call; specific schedule TBD
• Call Type: In House Call

• Aug 4, 2025 - On going
• Additional dates TBD based on 13-week assignment and scheduling.

• Case Mix: Pediatric inpatients, newborns, deliveries.

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE:

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

• Credentialing Timeline: 60 days

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Rate: TBD
• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

REQUIRED PROCEDURES:

• Newborn care.
• Pediatric consultations and rounding.
• Circumcisions (potentially; subject to confirmation).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Licenses: Must hold active WV medical license (no willingness to license).
• Board: Pediatric Board Certification preferred
• DEA
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (Preferred)
• Other Qualifications: Teaching hospital experience preferred.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide 24-hour hospital call coverage for pediatric and newborn patients.
• Attend deliveries and manage inpatient pediatric care.
• Conduct consultations and daily rounds.
• Coordinate with nursing and specialty teams as needed.
• Perform circumcisions (if required/credentialed).
