• Create inclusive physical education experiences that meet the needs of students with varying abilities and interests
• Develop comprehensive assessment strategies that fairly evaluate student progress and growth

• Implement evidence-based strategies that make physical education accessible and enjoyable for all students

• Partner with families to support each student's physical development journey
• Stay current on best practices in physical education through ongoing professional development
• Model healthy lifestyle choices and sportsmanship for your students
• Organize and manage equipment and physical spaces to ensure safe, effective learning environments

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree (minimum)
• NJ Teaching Certificate in Physical Education (Certificate of Eligibility acceptable)
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to communicate across lines of difference
• Expertise in physical education and sports instruction
• Team-oriented mindset with high expectations for students
• Understanding of child development and physical abilities across age ranges
