The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will support the Physical Therapist in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to residents. This includes assisting with treatment plans, documenting progress, and helping residents achieve mobility and functional goals in a skilled nursing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the PT in executing individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility training.
Record resident progress and communicate changes in condition to the PT and care team.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Ensure therapy equipment and spaces are clean, safe, and well-organized.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings as required.
Float to nearby affiliated centers when needed.
Active state license/certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) .
Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehab settings preferred.
Ability to work full-time schedule with weekend availability.
Flexibility to float between facilities.
Strong communication and patient-engagement skills.
