Job Description
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the chemical and FMCG industry, is seeking a Plant Manager to join their team. As a Plant Manager, you will be part of the Operations department supporting site operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proactive safety mindset, and excellent problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Plant Manager
**Location:** Cincinnati, Ohio
**Pay Range:** $140,000 - $185,000
**What's the Job?**
+ Oversee and manage the daily operations of a fast-paced manufacturing facility, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methods.
+ Lead and develop a high-performing, engaged workforce, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
+ Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including OSHA, ISO, and GMP requirements.
+ Align operational strategies with business growth, customer needs, and contractual manufacturing requirements.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's degree required; Engineering degree (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) strongly preferred.
+ Minimum of 5 years of plant or operations management experience in an automated batch or process manufacturing environment.
+ Experience in FMCG, chemical, food, or other regulated industries preferred.
+ Proven ability to implement operational improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
+ Strong knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems, GMP, OSHA standards, and safety programs.
