Location: Alper JCC Miami - Early Childhood Development Center.

Schedule: Part-Time (Days and hours TBD).

The Alper JCC Miami is seeking a dynamic and passionate Preschool Music Teacher to join our Early Childhood Development Center team! We are looking for someone who loves working with young children, brings energy and creativity to music education, and can foster a joyful and enriching learning environment through music.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging music classes for children ages 3 months to 5 years old using age-appropriate songs and instruments.
• Incorporate movement, rhythm, and basic musical concepts into each session to support early childhood development.
• Bring and play a musical instrument (such as a guitar) during lessons to lead songs and create a lively classroom experience.
• Integrate Jewish songs, holidays, and customs into the music curriculum to support our school’s cultural identity and community values.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and administrators to support seasonal performances, Shabbat celebrations, and special events.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience teaching music to preschool-aged children is required.
• Proficient in playing a musical instrument, preferably guitar, and able to bring it regularly for use in the classroom.
• Strong knowledge of Jewish songs, holidays, and traditions.
• Enthusiastic, warm, and patient teaching style with excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to build strong connections with children, families, and staff.
