Job Description

Everyday Dose is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Control Supervisor to lead and manage quality assurance efforts in our pick-and-pack shipping operation. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all outgoing shipments meet our high standards for accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of quality control processes in a warehouse or shipping environment.

Requirements

Quality Assurance Leadership:

  • Oversee the quality control team to ensure the accuracy and quality of all orders prepared for shipment; especially, that shipments are loaded into the correct outbound container and loaded on the correct trailer.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to minimize errors and improve efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality metrics, including order accuracy and defect rates.

Operational Oversight:

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of orders, packaging, and shipping processes to ensure compliance with Everyday Dose’s standards.
  • Collaborate with pick-and-pack teams to identify and resolve issues in real time.
  • Ensure that all materials used for packing meet Everyday Dose’s quality requirements (e.g., correct packing slips, product labels, and packaging).

Training and Development:

  • Train team members on quality control standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance individual and team effectiveness.

Problem Solving and Reporting:

  • Investigate and address quality issues, such as incorrect shipments, damaged items, or packaging errors.
  • Maintain detailed records of quality issues and corrective actions.
  • Report quality trends and recommend process improvements to management

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, warehouse policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality across the Everyday Dose warehouse operation.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; supply chain or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse, shipping, or quality control role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of pick-and-pack shipping operations and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends or issues to recommend effective solutions.
