Job Description

Our client is a high-growth, LA-based startup with a significant footprint in the social media and digital content creation industry. As a Remote React Native Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing strong foundations for our mobile applications, thus directly influencing the expansion of our mobile-first consumer base. Position Overview

The React Native Engineer will be a part of our cross-functional product team, working collaboratively to develop and manage our mobile application. This is a full-time remote position, requiring strong technical skills in React Native and associated technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX team to design mobile experiences.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in mobile application development.
  • Proficient with React Native.
  • Experience with Redux/MobX, Jest/Detox, REST APIs, Swift/SwiftUI, and TestFlight.
  • Strong knowledge of iOS and Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Certification as a Flutter Developer and AWS Mobile Developer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A total of 6 years’ experience in mobile application development.
  • Experience working remotely in a similar role.
  • Proficient in remote work tools and practices.
  • Mobile App Security Certification and Kubernetes Application Developer certification.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and project management experience.
