Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and patient RBT or Someone with experience in Autism to provide Job support and assistance to a 21 year old nonverbal adult diagnosed with Autism. This position will provide direct supervision. All Interviews will take place at Camp Bow Wow Smyrna 200 Weakley Lane Smyrna Tn 37167.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and supervision.
• Encourage and support social, recreational, and vocational activities.
• Assist with communication, using tools such as his phone to assist with texting.
• Manage challenging behaviors with patience and appropriate behavior intervention strategies.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and sensory-friendly environment.
• Keep detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and progress.
• Collaborate with family members, therapists, and other support staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant training or certifications preferred (e.g., CPR, First Aid, CPI).
• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of autism spectrum disorder and behavioral support techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Background check and references required.

Schedule:
This is a part time position with afternoon and weekend hours.
