Key Responsibilities: * Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national health and safety regulations (including Gujarat Factory Rules and applicable HSE legislation). * Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with company and legal standards. * Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across the plant premises. * Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions. * Maintain documentation of safety policies, training records, risk assessments, and audit reports. * Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs for employees and contract workers. * Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure availability. * Liaise with government agencies during inspections and audits. * Assist in the implementation of emergency response plans and fire drills. * Promote a culture of safety across all departments. Requirements: * Diploma or Degree in Industrial Safety / Occupational Health & Safety (as per Factories Act norms). * Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in the manufacturing or packaging sector. * Good knowledge of HSE legislation and regulatory compliance. * Familiarity with safety audits, risk assessments, and accident investigation procedures. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
