Seasonal Scale House Operators – Harvest 2025

LangeTwins Family Winery and Vineyards is seeking Seasonal Scale House Operators to join our Harvest 2025 team. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of truck weighing operations during the Crush season. We have three (3) seasonal positions available:

*Full-Time Graveyard Shift

*Part-Time Graveyard Shift

*Full-Time Day Shift

**Job Purpose**
The Scale House Operator is responsible for accurately weighing all incoming and outgoing trucks, recording data, and working closely with production, cellar, and vineyard teams. This is a fast-paced, high-responsibility position requiring strong organizational and communication skills.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Operate truck scale and weigh incoming/outgoing loads accurately
Adhere to all LangeTwins safety policies
Ensure compliance with California Weighmaster regulations and documentation requirements
Issue weigh certificates and maintain computerized records
Sort and process weigh tags, bills of lading (BOLs), and scale logs daily
Assist with truck staging to support smooth operations
Collect wine samples for lab and winemaking teams
Maintain Scale House cleanliness
Work independently and collaboratively under pressure
Perform additional duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
High school diploma or equivalent
Office experience preferred
Must have or obtain a valid California Weighmaster Certificate
Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, 10-key, data entry)
Ability to learn the Cardinal Scale System and AMS
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Ability to work 6–7 days per week during peak harvest
Must communicate clearly and calmly in a fast-paced environment

Harvest Dates:
Approximately July – October 2025 (subject to change based on grape conditions)
