Role Overview

The client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Blockchain Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications in the blockchain space. This role involves full-stack development, solution architecture, and leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior developers and shaping the technical strategy of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture & Development

• Design and implement features for trading, staking, and wallet management platforms.

• Develop, test, and deploy front-end, back-end, and database solutions with a focus on scalability and security.

2. Blockchain Integration

• Work with blockchain protocols to ensure seamless integration of on-chain and off-chain services.

• Design and optimize smart contract interactions with emphasis on security and performance.

3. Platform Reliability & Security

• Implement robust security measures to protect user data and assets.

• Conduct code reviews to identify vulnerabilities and drive system improvements.

4. Technical Leadership

• Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of innovation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize development processes.

• Participate in technical discussions to define strategic technology direction.

5. Performance Optimization

• Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.

• Conduct performance testing and incorporate user feedback for continuous improvement.

6. Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on emerging technologies in blockchain and full-stack development.

• Propose creative solutions to enhance product functionality and efficiency.

Requirements & Qualifications

1. Education & Experience

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years in a senior or lead role.

• Proven expertise in blockchain/cryptocurrency projects or platforms.

2. Technical Skills

• Front-End: Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular), HTML5, CSS3.

• Back-End: Strong knowledge of Node.js or similar server-side technologies; experience with RESTful APIs.

• Database: Experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Blockchain: Hands-on experience with Ethereum or other blockchain frameworks; smart contract development using Solidity or Rust.

• Cloud/DevOps: Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP; CI/CD workflows; containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• AI Tools: Familiarity with AI tools for coding efficiency.

• Security & Performance: Knowledge of secure coding practices and scalable architecture patterns.

3. Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

• Proven leadership abilities to mentor team members effectively.

• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation.

4. Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing DeFi platforms, DEXs, or other crypto-centric applications.
