Job Description

About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with 5-10 years of industry experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will develop and deploy cutting-edge machine learning models, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and foundational models, to solve business challenges. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and software engineers, to build scalable AI solutions.

We seek someone with a strong technical background in Python and PySpark, Pytorch, Tensorflow and SQL, who can leverage cloud computing environments (such as AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake) to deploy and optimize models in production. Knowledge of the advertising industry is preferred. Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models, including LLMs and foundational models, to solve real-world problems.
* Develop and test new components in our pipelines deploying ML models, integrating LLMs, and ensuring effective monitoring and product integration.
* Collaborate closely with product teams to align machine learning solutions with business goals and user needs.
* Partner with engineering teams to integrate models into production pipelines and ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
* Leverage technical expertise to ensure pipelines maintain high uptime and low latency
* Perform experiments to validate new approaches and monitor model performance in production environments.
* Use cloud platforms like AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake to manage resources, deploy models, and maintain model artifacts.
* Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, LLMs, and foundational models to continuously improve solutions.

Qualifications:
* Master's Degree or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, or Related Discipline with 5-10 years of industry experience.
* Experience with LLMs, foundational models, and associated libraries (e.g., Hugging Face).
* Experience building production-quality code incorporating testing, evaluation, and monitoring using object-oriented programming.
* Experience with GraphQL, REST, or gRPC basics and the ability to design and implement maintainable APIs.
* Proven track record of deploying machine learning models in production environments
* Experience working with cloud computing environments, such as AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake.
* Knowledge of ML deployment best practices and versioning tools.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of new technologies.
* Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment.
* Experience or familiarity with the advertising industry
* Experience mentoring junior MLEs and software engineers
