ESU #2 is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment & Diagnosis: Screen, evaluate, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders (including expressive/receptive language, social pragmatics, and voice)
IEP Development: Develop and implement individualized goals for Students with Disabilities, ensuring they are aligned with state standards and the student’s functional needs
Direct Therapy: Provide evidence-based intervention in various settings, including one-on-one sessions, small groups, and push-in classroom support
Compliance: Maintain timely and accurate records for Medicaid billing, progress reports, and annual IEP meetings.
Requirements:
Education: Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program
Certification: Nebraska Department of Education Teaching Certificate with SLP Endorsement
Certification: Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services licensure
Maintain confidentiality regarding school and student information, including sensitive matters and administrative decisions
