We are Rocky Mountain Prep, a network of twelve public charter schools in the Denver metro area serving students from twelve weeks old through twelfth grade. But we are more than schools—we are a movement of educators, families, and advocates transforming public education and expanding access to college and career opportunities for historically marginalized communities.
Driven by our pillars of Rigor and Love , we strive to ensure every student is known, loved, and prepared for academic and personal success. Our community lives by our PEAK values — Perseverance, Excellence, Adventure, and Kindness —and we aim to be the highest-performing school system in Colorado.
We seek mission-driven educators who lead with heart, maintain high expectations, and believe deeply in the potential of every student. You’re reflective in your practice, responsive to feedback, and passionate about providing consistent, joyful learning experiences—even on short notice.
As a Flexible Substitute Teacher , you’ll serve as a consistent presence across RMP campuses, stepping into classrooms to provide high-quality instruction when a lead teacher is out. Whether you’re covering kindergarten literacy or middle school science, your presence ensures continuity, culture, and care for students.

Flexibility to work across multiple schools and grade levels
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Prior experience as a substitute teacher or full-time educator

Interact frequently with students, staff, and families in a school-based setting
At RMP, you are more than a substitute—you are a vital part of our team. You’ll receive:
Ongoing professional development and support
Consistent, full-time placement across a growing network
A mission-driven, inclusive workplace that prioritizes student impact and staff well-being
A chance to grow into a long-term instructional or leadership role
If you are ready to make a meaningful impact in students’ lives and want to be part of a dynamic, values-driven community, we encourage you to apply.
