We are looking for a motivated and dependable individual to join our team of title professionals. The successful candidate will have some experience in detailed research and a passion for history. • Conduct a search of real estate records
• Travel to and from county offices to pick up and deliver documents
• Check for real estate title defects after conducting pa roperty search for title issues such as liens, claims, deeds, wills, mortgages, or fraud
• Analyze liens, plat books, contracts, agreements, surveys, maps, public records, and leases to verify ownership, legal description, and restrictions
• Prepare tthe itle abstract and title opinion after conducting a title search

Qualifications:

• Intermediate proficiency with numerous programs including MS Office is essential
• Outstanding communications, customer service, research, and analysis skills are preferred
• Certification as a notary public is not required but is appreciated
• College is an asset but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is a requirement
• 1-3 years of experience with real estate transactions, title processing, title company pre-processor, or as a mortgage loan processor is desired
