Job Title: Travel RN – Case Manager / Utilization Review / CDI
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days
Pay Rate: $2,894 Weekly Gross
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Case Management, Utilization Review, and Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) for an acute care hospital assignment in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Provide professional nursing case management services in an acute care hospital environment.
Conduct utilization reviews and clinical documentation improvement activities to ensure accurate and compliant patient records.
Collaborate with medical staff, patients, and families to coordinate care and discharge planning.
Apply knowledge of regulatory and reimbursement guidelines in managing patient care transitions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EPIC EMR system .
Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care hospital experience (within the last 2 years).
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
Experience in Case Management, Utilization Review, and/or CDI required.
EPIC EMR experience is mandatory.
Travel RNs must have prior experience in facilities of similar or larger size and/or trauma centers .
Active RN license in the State of New York .
Current BLS certification required.
