We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Valet Attendants.

Position Summary:

As a Valet Attendant, you will be the first and last impression for our guests at the Renaissance Hotel. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service as they arrive and depart from the hotel. This position requires excellent communication skills, agility, and a keen sense of responsibility and ability to multitask

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Park and retrieve vehicles quickly and safely.
• Assist guests with luggage and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
• Maintain an organized parking area and ensure the security of guests' vehicles.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and efficiency.
• Uphold the hotel's standards of excellence and guest satisfaction.
• Misc. tasks i.e. keeping workspace clean and organized, completing daily valet paperwork/logs, room deliveries/drop-offs, assisting Front Desk with misc. tasks; guest requests, laundry-dry cleaning delivery, mail drop-off at local USPS, UPS, FedEx (all located within a block of the hotel), high-profile group security/greeting.
• Sense of urgency handling guests needs.
• Correctly following instructions, procedures, and tasks assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
• 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (3 years). 
  • Drivers License issued in Ohio (Kentucky/Indiana within 30 miles of hotel property)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. (*Pay incentives given*)
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving / thinking a few steps ahead.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
