Now Hiring: Weekend On-Call Childcare Professional – Dallas Metroplex Do you love working with kids and want a flexible, rewarding weekend job that stands out from the rest? At Jovie of Dallas, we’re looking for dependable, energetic, and professional caregivers to join our weekend on-call childcare team. As the trusted face of our agency in each family’s home, you’ll bring fun, structure, and peace of mind to parents across the Dallas Metroplex—especially when they need trusted care most on weekends. This isn’t your typical childcare job. Our sitters are expected to be confident, proactive, and reliable, stepping into homes with professionalism and heart. What You’ll Do Provide safe, attentive, and responsible care for children of all ages (newborn through school-age). Create a positive, engaging environment with age-appropriate activities— reading, games, crafts, outdoor play, and more. Follow family instructions and routines to keep children’s  evenings and weekends smooth and stress-free. Arrive prepared and on time, representing Jovie with  professionalism. Pitch in with light  meal prep, tidying, and bedtime routines as needed. Prioritize children’s  safety, well-being, and happiness at all times. What We Offer Weekend pay $16–$18/hour, plus overtime & federal holidays at $22.50/hour. Weekend flexibility: Work primarily  Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays —perfect for anyone looking to earn extra income. Growth & training:  Paid training, ongoing coaching, and professional development opportunities. Supportive team culture: Independence in the field with a  management team that always has your back. Who You Are Have at least 1 year of childcare experience  (infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and/or school-age). Confident and adaptable with different  ages, personalities, and family dynamics. Able to provide 3 professional references (2 in childcare). Proactive and engaging—you don’t just “watch” kids, you  connect  with them. Dependable, professional, and an excellent communicator. CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified).
