Responsibilities - Perform tree climbing and pruning using rope and harness techniques
- Lead and manage a crew to ensure safe and efficient work practices
- Utilize proper knots, climbing, and rigging techniques, including working with cranes
- Operate equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, hand-tools, stump grinders, and skid steers safely
- Apply A300 proper pruning techniques and adhere to ANSI Z133 safety standards
- Conduct safety meetings and promote accident prevention and electrical hazard awareness
- Provide exceptional customer service and address client needs effectively
Qualifications
- ISA Certified Arborist or Certified Tree Worker (completed or in progress)
- 2+ years of experience climbing with rope and harness
- 2+ years of experience leading a crew (preferred)
- Knowledge of proper knots, climbing, and rigging techniques
- Experience working with cranes
- Ability to safely operate chainsaws, chippers, hand-tools, stump grinders, and skid steers
- Knowledge of A300 proper pruning techniques
- Understanding of ANSI Z133 safety standards, accident prevention, and electrical hazards
- Experience conducting safety meetings
- Certified in First Aid and CPR
- California driver’s license or ability to obtain one
- 2 or 4-year degree in a related field (desired)
- ISA/TCIA Certifications
- References demonstrating experience in the listed areas
