Job Description

A prominent law firm seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Billing  Specialist to join its remote team. Candidates may reside in Charlotte, Raleigh, Charleston, Nashville, Baltimore, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Chattanooga, Houston, Jackson, Knoxville, Memphis, Atlanta, or New Orleans .

This professional-level role supports accounts receivable collections by collaborating with attorneys and clients to resolve outstanding balances. Key responsibilities include account reconciliations, reporting, client follow-up, and supporting the firm’s fiscal year-end process. Strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in Excel are essential. Experience with ARCS and ADERANT is a plus.

Compensation

• Salary is commensurate with experience and adjusted for geographic location
• Overtime may be required and compensated accordingly

Work Expectations & Schedule

• Full-time position
• Remote work structure with mandatory in-office presence on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month
• Occasional overtime and travel may be required

Candidate Parameters

• Prior collections, billing, or accounts receivable experience is required (law firm or professional services preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with collections software, ARCS, and ADERANT preferred
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion when interacting with attorneys, clients, and leadership
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
