We are looking for competent Caregivers to join our team! The ideal candidate would be responsible for caring for our patients in a professional and compassionate manner.

Huntington Retirement Assisted Living is dedicated to providing the best care and services to our residents.

SCHEDULE: PART TIME ONLY FOR (AM)

5AM TILL 11:30 A

6AM TILL 2:30 P

Caregiver Requirements

• Vaccinated against Covid-19 including Booster and present proof
• Flexible schedule & Full-Time availability
• Must clear Live Scan background check
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the United States

Primary Caregiver Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the facility (to activities, to dining room, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assist feeding and bathing residents
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Provide increased assistance to residents with dementia or in memory care unit
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
  
  Other Caregiver Skills
• Experience as a caregiver preferred but not required
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid and CPR
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

PAY SCALE:

Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise. 

$17 - $18 / hour
