Job Description

We are seeking experienced and reliable drivers to operate 26' Box trucks and 53’ Tractor/ trailer for GreenSheen Paint & Design, Inc. GreenSheen Paint & Design, Inc. specializes in providing environmentally-friendly paint products and services to customers. Applicants must have a CDL Class A driver's license.

 

 

The main responsibilities of this role include:

• Mobilizing from our Rotterdam, NY facility to service various customer sites and collection events throughout the Northeast, but mainly within the state of NY.
• Inspecting, collecting, packing and loading materials from customer sites onto trucks, and transporting them back to our facility in Rotterdam, NY.
• Replenishing supplies at customer sites after collecting materials.
• Off load trucks from daily customer pickups. Weigh inbound product, and update shipping documentation as necessary. 
• Assist with loading any outgoing shipments and event supplies. 
• Manage corresponding shipment documentation, such as non-haz manifest and Bill of Lading.
• Maintaining positive relationships with customers, ensuring that all service activities are accurate and timely.
• Reporting any feedback to the Rotterdam, NY facility's site management.

  To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

• CDL Class A license. 
• Hazmat endorsement
• Must have or ability to obtain a DOT physical.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Clean driving record.
• Strong verbal communication skills and customer service.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (sitting and sometimes standing for long periods of time, bending, twisting and lifting small containers of up to or more than 50 pounds and packing them into shipping boxes, moving boxes/ pallets that could be in excess of 800 lbs each via pallet jack). Repetitive movements throughout the course of any given workday/week. 
• Ability to operate a pallet jack for loading and unloading of pallets in excess of 800 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair. 
• Strong understanding of DOT compliance/ regulations.
• Mandatory that driver must be willing to work Monday through Saturday (as needed). Non-business hours may be required, which will include normal customer stops and/ or collection events. 
• Rarely, specific jobs may require overnight stay. 
• Rarely, driving responsibilities may be low in volume, candidate must be willing to assist with basic warehouse needs as necessary. 
• Must be dependable, reliable and consistent. 
• Must be committed to safety.
