POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director, Business Development is responsible for supporting the development and execution of inorganic growth strategies and initiatives, including acquisitions, partnerships, and de novo opportunities. This role partners with operational leadership to assess and advance in-market growth opportunities and plays a key role in evaluating and executing business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the identification, assessment, and execution of acquisition and partnership opportunities.
  • Manage aspects of deal execution including financial analysis, due diligence coordination, and documentation support.
  • Collaborate with leaders across managed care, reimbursement, operations, accounting, tax, HR, and legal during transactions and integrations.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of acquisition opportunities; assist in developing new market expansion criteria.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and analyses to support decision-making by senior leadership.
  • Provide project management support across various business development initiatives.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of related experience in business development, project management, or market growth planning.
  • 7+ years of related experience, preferred.
  • MBA, MHA, or other advanced degree, preferred.
  • Prior healthcare industry experience, preferred.

  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and build effective working relationships.
