Email Developer - Contractor
Remote - EST preferred
Are you a fast, detail-oriented Email Developer with solid HTML skills and experience working in a high-volume environment? We’re hiring immediately and would love to speak with strong candidates this week.
About the Role:
We’re looking to add a third Email Developer to a growing team. This role is purely focused on email development – no content writing involved – and will require someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing about 1/3 of 70+ emails sent monthly (that’s roughly 17–20 one-off emails a week).
You’ll collaborate closely with two other developers, attending team meetings twice weekly at 10AM EST .
Key Responsibilities:
Build and QA high-volume marketing emails
Code in HTML with speed and accuracy
Work in Acoustic (preferred) or Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) – currently transitioning from Acoustic to AJO
Insert images and optimize visuals using Photoshop
Perform thorough QA on every email before it goes out
What You Bring:
3+ years of hands-on experience developing marketing emails
Strong HTML/CSS coding skills
Experience with Acoustic (strongly preferred) or Adobe AJO
Photoshop proficiency for image swapping
Keen eye for detail and commitment to quality assurance
Ability to handle high email volume quickly and efficiently
Nice to Have:
Experience transitioning between email platforms
Knowledge of accessibility best practices
Note:
Experience limited to platforms like MailChimp will not be a fit for this role
