Job Description

We are recruiting a Field Service Technician in Downey, CA on behalf of a nationwide, well established rental company. We are looking for a person that will perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of rental equipment. This includes equipment such as: generators, air conditioners, air cooled chillers, diesel engines, dehumidifiers, and electrical distribution equipment.

Position Offers

• $35-45/hour, depending on experience + overtime opportunities. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions

Job Duties

• Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, gas, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment
• Perform load bank tests and major/minor PMs
• Diagnose and repair all equipment in the rental fleet without supervision utilizing schematics and diagnostic programs
• When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
