Respiratory Therapist (RT) | Contract Position

Location: Norfolk, VA 23502

Weekly Pay: $1512 - $1620

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Schedule: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
Develop and implement respiratory care plans based on patient assessments.
Administer treatments and therapies, such as oxygen therapy, nebulization, and chest physiotherapy.
Monitor and adjust ventilator settings for patients requiring mechanical ventilation.
Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and self-care techniques.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
State licensure or certification as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT).
Experience: Minimum of 1 2 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
Strong knowledge of respiratory medications, equipment, and therapies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations.

Travel & Local Considerations:

Candidates residing 50 miles from the facility are eligible for travel pay .
