A state-of-the-art, non-profit, short term acute care facility located 1 hour east of Columbus is looking for a permanent Lab Assistant (multiple shifts available). The Lab Assistant will perform, evaluate and submit results on blood and body fluid specimens received for laboratory analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains of equipment, troubleshoots instrument performance, and understands quality control requirements related to test analysis
Keeps accurate records
Provide assistance in areas of phlebotomy, CPA, and telecommunications
Maintains knowledge and assists in complying with all regulatory agencies including CAP, HFAP, OSHA, and HIPPA
Performs other functions as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in biological sciences.
Entry-level experience in clinical laboratory preferred.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure in a complex and changing work environment
