Lab assistant needed for a busy dermatology clinic. Applicant must be a self-starter comfortable with a team environment.

This job WILL require travel.

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive:

• Handling Fresh Tissue.
• Cutting Frozen Sections.
• Staining Tissue.
• Prepare Histology Specimens.
• Documenting Results.
• Logging Patient Information.
• Data Entry.

Key Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science or an Associate of Science or Certified Histotechnologist.
• Excellent teamwork.
• Attention to detail.
• Observational skills.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Time management skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• HIPAA compliance and safe OSHA practices.
