POSITION: 32 Points Manning, LLC is staffing a Chief Engineer for a PASSENGER FERRY on the great Lakes working 5 days/week. Anticipating the contract will last for 6 weeks to 60 days. Government job.
JOB TYPE & START DATE: We are looking for someone who can travel on Sunday and stay for the duration, which is 45-60 days approximately. Working 5 days/week on a US government owned passenger ferry working on Great Lakes. You live on the boat off two days a week.
COMPANY INFORMATION: You will be working for 32 Points Manning as a contractor. We have expanded into staffing as well as direct placement and government contracts. Must pass a DOT drug test.
REQUIREMENTS:
*USCG LICENSE/CREDENTIAL REQUIRED: USCG Chief Engineer Limited
* STCW REQUIRED No STCW required
* CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED or PREFERRED: None
* SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE /BACKGROUND: Must have CAT Diesel experience, prefer someone with positive demeanor and communication ability as you will be working in a . You are running the engine room by yourself as it is a small vessel.
VESSEL TYPE : DIVE SUPPORT VESSEL
ROTATION OR SCHEDULE: straight time. 6-8 weeks straight 8 hour days with anything over 8 as OT. Some light OT expected.
PAY INFO $125/day for 8 hour days with anything over 8 hour at time and a half.
TRANSPORTATION COVERED AND ARRANGED BY 32 POINTS MANNING, LLC.
We can only place mariners with a US Coast Guard license (Merchant Mariner's Credentials) for U.S. Flagged vessels.
