Are you an experienced mortgage professional with a passion for helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams? We are looking for a motivated and client-focused Mortgage Loan Officer to join our dynamic team!

Position Overview:This is a remote/hybrid role that offers flexibility to work from home or from one of our office locations. The position requires occasional travel to meet with clients and attend team meetings.

What You'll Do:

Build relationships and prospect clients to provide tailored residential mortgage solutions.

Proactively convert inbound and outbound leads into successful applications.

Assess clients' financial needs and recommend the best mortgage products and rate programs.

Meet and exceed monthly sales performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Originate, negotiate, and process residential mortgage loans.

Guide clients through the loan process by providing expert counseling and advice.

Collect necessary financial information and documents from applicants.

Monitor loan applications and provide timely updates to clients and relevant stakeholders.

Coordinate loan processing and closings with internal teams.

Address client inquiries and assist in resolving any issues related to closings.

Maintain strong relationships with real estate professionals and educate them on loan products and services.

Attend industry-related meetings and presentations.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan files and required documentation.

Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

What You Bring:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage lending, loan origination, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of loan processing guidelines, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA.

Solid understanding of mortgage practices, documentation, and real estate terminology.

Ability to navigate the mortgage market and provide clients with the best possible solutions.

Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred.

Must be based in California.

Compensation:

Competitive commission-based pay structure: $52,000 - $200,000 per year (1099 contractor).
