Steel Fabricators looking for an awesome Overhead Crane Operator for the plant operations to join our dynamic team in Fort Lauderdale! Get ready to master the skies as you take control of impressive lifting equipment while keeping safety as your #1 priority.
Operate a crane to lift and move objects
Inspect crane equipment and carry out some maintenance
Move the crane into the correct position and attach and secure loads using the correct equipment
Bind and secure loads to cranes
Inspect machinery and equipment to make sure they function properly
Follow safety guidelines and protocols
Maintain a maintenance and activity log of items moved
Support other crane operators as necessary
Inspects crane for defective parts and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions.
