Product Owner

Onsite 5 days a week in Miami (LOCALS ONLY)

Business and Technical Context: (client)explained that the product owner must understand both the business context and technical aspects of deploying AI analytics models, including how data is sourced, processed, and embedded with intelligence using a data vault architecture, ensuring all signals are contextually tagged for comprehensive analytics.

Collaboration with Business Teams: The team highlighted that the product owner will be responsible for engaging with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business questions into technical specifications, and ensure that the resulting analytics solutions meet the needs of various disciplines such as maintenance, fuel, and environmental operations.

Data Integration and Standardization: (Client) described the need for the product owner to oversee the integration and standardization of signals from diverse shipboard systems, ensuring uniform protocols and ontologies are applied so that analytics and bots can function seamlessly across the fleet.

Onsite Presence and Relationship Management: (client) agreed that the product owner should be onsite to effectively manage relationships with business users, facilitate requirement gathering, and act as the primary point of contact between offshore technical teams and the business.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner/Business Analyst in a data centric environment.
• Must be very comfortable with agile processes and methods.
• Solid understanding of agile story estimation using points.
• Solid understanding of data engineering methods and techniques.
• Able to write SQL queries to assess data relationships and data quality issues.
• Professional experience writing user stories for data solutions.
• Working familiarity with cloud ecosystems, AWS preferred.
